Cars starting back in the early days of FWD went to Unibodys. No gap from “frame” to body. Body on frame there are mounts for motor / driveline that connect to frame rails that the cab / box or body bolt to.
Mopar was building unibody cars in the 60s. Even Muscle Cars, Road Runners and Superbees IE.
I’d bet you were dealing with a unibody.
