Two friends try to form a heavy metal band with a cellist for a Battle of the Bands.
A coming of age movie, along with a bit of an underdog/outcast element. Some cliches pop up, sure, that is to be expected. The general story arc is predictable, but it’s a fun ride. It is even more fun if you are a fan of metal genre. Some self-deprecation, a major obvious reference with the cellist, if you know the metal genre, and a couple of cameos tossed in for good measure.
A good use of 90~ minutes, if you ask me.
