I will say there are MANY more posts on this site that walk the line and even cross the line of what would be considered a political post and they stay. I thought Rube’s was pretty neutral and discussed television and his opinion of the show and who produced it, not his opinion of the actual content of said show.

There are a lot of shows out there that have some politics in them (South Park, anyone? :wink: ). When posters post specific personal views about said politics, that’s when the posts should be deleted. In general, one should be able to post that it’s a biting satire, or an intelligent presentation, or a flaming pile of dogsh*.

Of course SPECIFIC political talk shows should be exempt from this. The pure op-ed shows.
