Apparently, that was important to Emilio. He wanted to film in MN (as did the rest) but lack of tax breaks prevented that. That’s how the Mighty Ducks originally “started” and they wanted to keep it that way. However, that is why you also have all the MN references. The Current had him on for an interview last week.
I saw the interview. MN references aside the youth format represented has nothing to do with the MN model of youth hockey. I suppose it’s to create drama but I feel they could still do that without going that far. Not a major complaint mind you.
